High-quality headphones are very hard to find, but you can do that if you bump the price a little bit. Usually, the best thing about these headphones is that they deliver value and quality in a good package. And the Ultrasone Performance 880 S-Logic unit is definitely one of those models.
Design
The design is quite nice. It has a unique combination of color tones. They are not too bright, so the unit won’t get the attention all the time which is very nice. They did a very good job with the way the two cups are connected to each other. It’s simple and distinct, but also a pleasure to check out and it does look extremely well due to that. It’s the type of thing you will like a lot, so you do need to check it out at the very least if you can.
Sound quality and features
The thing that makes the Ultrasone Performance 880 S-Logic stand out is the S-Logic Plus technology. This offers a crisp sound and there is no quality loss. On the contrary, everything is natural and it sounds really nice all the time. That’s what makes the entire experience more rewarding here, and since you are always in control that’s always very nice and interesting.
Thanks to the ULE technology and MU metal shielding you don’t have quality loss. Usually, that can be a problem, which is exactly what you want to avoid most of the time. The focus has to be on value more than anything, and the unit does a tremendous job in that perspective. They also have reduced radiation, which is a very good thing, to be honest.
The 40 mm driver is excellent, and you will particularly love the music quality and how well the music sounds here. It’s not the best sounding experience out there, but it can totally do wonders most of the time.
When it comes to bass, you have a very good value. You also have a completely black earcup composition. They surpass any expectation here by making the process as simple and as convenient as possible. That makes the Ultrasone Performance 880 S-Logic one of the best tools on the market, so you do need to at least check this out and see how it works for you.
What’s in the box?
Not a lot, unfortunately. You have just the headphones and replacement cups if necessary. They also have 2 detached cables, which is a good option to have though.
