Design and Build Quality

With a single look at these earbuds, you’ll know exactly what kind of earbuds are WRZ S8. They feature an ergonomic design that successfully made the headphones lightweight and comfortable without sacrificing durability.

Such design is definitely on the modern side and is one of the better-looking ones if you quickly have a look at the market. Considering the price range, these might be the best-looking earbuds for its price range.

What we’ve really liked is the way WRZ attached the silicone ear hooks to the earbuds, providing a snug fit. We’ve tested these earbuds for a number of sports but we’ve found that ear hooks definitely helped for running. The earbuds never fell out.

In hands, these earbuds feel very comfortable and what we’ve noticed is how soft they are in touch. The reason for that is the silicone coated material over robust plastic that doesn’t only improve the feel and overall design, but it adds-up some other benefits such as waterproof feature, which we will discuss later.

Both ear tips and ear hooks seem to be made from the same soft silicone material that is easy on ear, doesn’t make the ears hurt after a while and definitely makes sure you feel them enough to know if they’re in your ears.

We are pretty sure that the ear tips are made from a very similar material that is used to coat the whole earbuds, making them not only feel very great in your ears, but they are able to eliminate a bit of noise too.

Another thing that’s really unique is that the ear tips come in different sizes and shapes. Therefore, you can choose between sports or leisure style to find the perfect fit for your ears.

For the cable, a rubber material was used to protect the short cable which connects two earbuds with a controller. It’s very solid, doesn’t tangle a lot, and we believe it can’t snap easily at all – even if you accidentally snap it. It’s pretty elastic so you don’t have anything to worry about.

At first, we didn’t know the actual price of these earbuds. Only after we’ve tested them for a while, we got to understand that the price is really affordable and we couldn’t believe the quality we’ve witnessed.

Also, it’s really obvious that the intended use is sports, whether it’s running, working out in the gym, swimming, cycling, or any other sports. On the other hand, we find these earbuds to be great for indoors use, car use, and even office.

They come in 6 different colors, and while we aren’t a really big fan of blue and purple-pink colors, we’ve loved the classy black or white, and stylish red or grey-green colors.

One of the greatest things about these headphones is also the IPX6 rating that makes WRZ S8 earbuds waterproof, dustproof, and splashproof. Combine that with the magnetic feature that will keep your earbuds secure around the neck, the build quality is close to excellent.

Lastly, these earbuds weight only about 0.48 ounces which can be really compared to a coin.

Sound Quality and Features

For such compact and lightweight earbuds, WRZ S8 wireless earbuds provide a pretty solid & decent quality. You shouldn’t expect the quality of some of the best earbuds out there, but we can say that these earbuds are really great for the price.

The precision-engineered speaker provides crystally clear audio quality with balanced mids, but a bit lack of bass. Nevertheless, WRZ S8 earbuds still cut out a lot of surrounding noise which adds up to the overall audio performance.

What struck us the most (in a positive way, of course) is the Bluetooth 5.0 connection that offers the best data transmission with a very minimal loss of audio quality. Therefore, going wireless has never been a smarter choice than now.

Even on the brighter side, the controls are very slim, lightweight, and don’t drag the earbuds out of your ears. There are only a few buttons, but they for sure make it the use simple and worth it.

What’s even better than the Bluetooth 5.0 connection is the battery that can last up to 10 hours, yet it only takes about 1.5 hours to a full charge. If you don’t plan to use these earbuds very often, you’ll love the 240 hours standby time.

Once you drain the battery out, the charging happens through USB micro cable that comes included and it can be charged with any USB port which makes charging very versatile.
