VERDICT

There are so many different headphones on the market that it can be very difficult to decide which pair is worth your money. Some people purchase multiple pairs of headphones each for a different purpose, while others try to find one versatile pair for everything. If you fall into the latter category, the TREBLAB X11 are the headphones you’ve been looking for. It’s almost absurd how affordable they are given how fantastic their sound quality is and just how much effort went into their design and production. We applaud the company for making excellent headphones for the masses, instead of trying to appeal to the often snobbish audiophile crowd that only cares about brand names, not the sound. Truly wireless headphones seem to be the future of portable listening, and with the X11, you can experience it right now.

The headphones market is overflowing with hyped up products that don’t live up to the high expectations set by marketing departments. In a certain way, customers are to blame. So many people fall for empty promises and gimmicky features, willing to spend hundreds of dollars on headphones that sound just as good as many OEM earbuds that come included with smartphones and tablets for free.

TREBLAB is one of only a few manufacturers who wants to change this bleak situation. Each TREBLAB product is manufactured with utmost precision and care and sold at a fair price. The company believes that everyone should be able to enjoy high-fidelity listening no matter how much money they can afford to spend.

As music fans, the people working at TREBLAB understand what it feels like to fall in love with a pair of headphones. When designing the X11, their goal was to create truly wireless headphones with very wide appeal and sound that fits into all parts of life, from fitness to travel to study. Looking at the initial batch of reviews on Amazon, it seems like they’ve succeeded. But as you probably know, online reviews can be misleading, which is why we are here to test the headphones ourselves.

Build and Design

Let’s not kid ourselves “looks are important“. If you know that someone has put a lot of effort and care into making your headphones as beautiful as possible, your listening enjoyment will be so much greater. The X11 sport a triangular shape, shiny black finish, and stunning red accents.

TREBLAB gives you six pairs of replaceable eartips to choose from, three of which are made from memory foam and three are made from silicone. The foam tips block nearly all outside noise, and the silicone tips are great for situations when you want to hear what goes on around you.

With any truly wireless headphones, it’s absolutely essential to achieve a good fit. The earwings, which are firmly attached to the earbuds, snugly yet gently press against the inner part of your ears, keeping the earbuds in place even as you enjoy your favorite sport.

The X11 connect with your smartphone, tablet, or any other Bluetooth device using the latest and most reliable Bluetooth standard. The supported Bluetooth profiles include HFP, HSP, A2DP, AVRCP, as well as the ubiquitous APT-X compression. The flawless implementation of the Bluetooth 4.1 technology results in approximately 38 feet range, even with some minor obstacles in the way. What’s more, you can connect multiple devices at the same time and enjoy CMC 6.0 noise cancellation.

The headphones last around 5 hours on a single charge. Keep in mind that most truly wireless headphones that cost less around $50 only manage up to 2 to 3 hours. It will take you 1 hour to charge the headphones to their maximum capacity.

TREBLAB offer their clients 1-year totally risk-free warranty. What does that really mean? Well, in case there’s anything at all you don’t like about the headphones, you can send them back and the manufacturer will completely refund you. That’s what we call a great customer service.

Sound Quality

Size sometimes matters. When it comes to headphone drivers, it tends to matter quite a bit. The TREBLAB X11 truly wireless headphones feature large drivers that easily dwarf most other in-ear headphones on the market. The extra size isn’t just for show, either. TREBLAB used it to give the headphones the ability to produce roaring bass that will make your feet tap to the rhythm.

Even if you crank up the volume, people around you won’t hear a thing because of how much noise the foam eartips absorb. You can actually slightly modify the sound of the headphones by swapping the foam tips for the silicone eartips. With the foam tips, the headphones sound slightly bassier, and the silicone eartips make highs more prominent. In either case, the X11 sound fantastic, especially for truly wireless earbuds.

There is a high-definition microphone for talking on the phone and using intelligent personal voice assistant, such as Siri or Google Voice. You can answer or reject calls with a single button, and the sound quality is crystal-clear.

What’s in the Box

What a generous set of accessories these headphones come with. You get not one, not three, but six pairs of replaceable eartips. Three pairs are made from silicone and the other three are made from a special foam designed to isolate as much outside noise as possible. Also included is a hard-shell carrying case, USB cable and 1-year warranty. Given that high-quality foam eartips often cost 1/3 of the price of headphones, the TREBLAB X11 are really a fantastic deal.
