VERDICT

You will be quite impressed with the Shure SRH1540 Premium Closed-Back Headphones. While they are not the best on the market, they do deliver a very good sound and you will like the return on investment you receive as a whole. It’s by far one of the better options out there, and for this price, you can’t argue that much. You will be happy with the sound quality. Just double check them upon receiving, as some units arrived with defective parts.

Good headphones come in all shapes and sizes. You just have to figure out what option works great for you and the value will be a good one every time. The Shure SRH1540 Premium Closed-Back Headphones are some of the latest, best products that you can find on the market. They look great, and the value is indeed quite interesting here. But are they worth the money or not? Let’s find out.

Design

You will notice that the design is pretty simple here. But at the same time, the primary focus is the comfort. And you will feel a good comfort when you wear these headphones. They are created with simplicity in mind. Yet at the same time, you will appreciate the tremendous value for your money, which is exactly what you need in a situation like this!

Sound quality and features

Right off the bat, you will like the 40 mm neodymium drivers. They are providing you with a very good acoustic performance. In addition, the bass is warm, you have extended highs and the return on investment is credible due to that reason alone. It’s definitely a stellar investment and it does work quite well here.

The cable length is 1.8 m. While it’s not the longest cable, it does deliver a tremendous value and you can’t ask for more. They do have an aircraft grade aluminum alloy yoke and a carbon fiber cap for better durability which is always nice. The steel driver frame is very good and boosting linearity and it also has internal resonance elimination. You can easily improve the listening consistency in ways you would not imagine, and all of that adds up to a very good audio quality in the end.

The product is also reducing background noise. Most of the time this can be very hard to do, but the dual frame headband is good at noise reduction. And the features that you can get here are among some of the best on the market. You will be more appreciative of the value and results, and the outcome is certainly interesting due to that reason alone.

What’s in the box?

You have the unit itself and a few cables. Unfortunately, the package is not that comprehensive, even if some people would expect that at such a price. But for the most part, the return on investment is huge, and that’s what matters the most here.
