Everprime HSB001 Sport Bluetooth In-Ear Headphones Review
- Respectable sound quality
- Water resistance
- Comfortable memory wire
- Supports dual Bluetooth connection
- Unreliable Bluetooth connection
The Everprime Bluetooth earbuds show that the manufacturer is capable of creating a great product, but that they still have a plenty of room to improve. If Everprime managed to make the electronics smaller and improve the Bluetooth connectivity, we would be looking at a very comfortable pair of nicely sounding Bluetooth headphones. As it is, we have to recommend that you first consider what else is available.
In this review, we are taking a look at a lesser known brand of Bluetooth earbuds. The Everprime HSB001 have a simple black design and the usual assortment of useful features, such as Bluetooth CSR 4.0, AptX, and the ability to connect to 2 devices at the same time.
Design and build quality
Everprime uses a rubberized memory wire to accommodate different ear shapes and ear sizes. The rubber is very pleasant on the skin and doesn’t cause any irritation whatsoever even during very hot days. That’s a great news because the earbuds are water and dust resistant, which makes them ideal for all sorts of demanding sport activities. Our own testing confirms that they, indeed, seem to not suffer from any loss of sound quality when they get wet, indicating that water has no way of getting inside the driver compartment.
The cable leaves the earbud housing at approximately 45 degrees to provide with extra level of protecting and comfort. We have never experienced any issues with the cable twisting and tangling, which can probably be attributed to its thickness.
Apart from your standard set of control buttons, there’s also an indicator light that allows for a convenient way how to monitor the status of the earbuds. The integrated voice prompt functionality will alert you every time the Everprime Sport earbuds register an input. It’s not too loud, so it doesn’t get as annoying as with many other earbuds.
Everprime has implemented their unique cavity structure design, which should, at least in theory, offer high-quality sound and authentic reproduction of all parts of the frequency spectrum. Coupled with an innovative double damping balancing technology and the AptX audio compression codec, the Everprime Sport are really set to outperform much of their competition.
Our extensive listening testing confirms that the earbuds really sound great, and they managed to surprise us with their fun sound signature. Bass is presented with a confidence and has enough power behind it to feel very substantial. The same can be also said about mids. Highs are then only weak point; although, it’s really not like they ruin the whole experience.
What’s in the box?
The Everprime Sport Bluetooth earbuds ships with 3 pairs of earbud and a USB cable for charging. We have seen richer accessories in this price range, but it would be unfair to say that anything important is missing. A soft pouch that many manufacturers like to include is often tossed aside as soon as the earbuds are unboxed.
