Dreaminex D10 Sport Bluetooth Earbuds Review
- Secure fit
- Comfortable for long listening sessions
- Easy pairing
- Amazing call quality
- Thin bass
With the exception of slightly thinner bass, there’s really only a very little not to love here. The design is one of the best you will ever see. All people who saw these earbuds thought they cost, at least, three times as much as they really do. We consider it to be a mark of success and a clear testament to Dreaminex’s proficiency as a manufacturer of audio equipment.
Bluetooth earbuds like the D10 from Dreaminex are destined to receive design award and amaze customers with their elegant, futuristic look. But we all know that looks alone can be deceiving. That’s why we like to thoroughly test every pair of earbuds we get our hands on to see if they are able to meet our criteria.
Design and Build Quality
If high-tech look is something that speaks to your design sensibility, then we strongly believe the D-10 Bluetooth earbuds will be right up your alley. Their unique design with golden color metal holder gives them a distinctly futuristic look and makes them seem to be quite expensive.
A good news is that good looks didn’t take anything away from ergonomic design and good fit. The earbuds use a special design to stay firmly in place during intense exercise, and the sweat-proof construction guarantees maximum durability under all conditions. Indeed, all plastic parts are remarkably tough and feel like they could take a lot of abuse before breaking.
The lightweight construction adds up to just 0.6 ounces, making you completely forget that you are wearing the earbuds. The cable is firm but also has enough give to work great for running or aerobic exercise. The right earbud has three buttons that allow you to control your music and accept or decline phone calls.
The built-in battery is only average, with maximum playback time hovering around 5 hours. We would like it to be a few hours longer, but 5 hours should be enough a full week of gym use.
The D-10 include the latest Bluetooth 4.0 And CVC Noise Cancellation 6.0 technology for extremely low noise to music ratio and minimal standby power consumption. Playing music at average volume is quite an enjoyable experience, but higher volumes reveal the last of bass frequencies. You can try and play with an equalizer in your smartphone, but we have come to the conclusion that the earbuds are simply not suitable for bassy music.
Luckily, the passive noise isolation is better than most other Bluetooth headsets on the market, so you should be able to keep the volume at moderate levels. Using these earbuds in a room with a TV reduces the sound coming from it to a barely noticeable hum.
What’s in the Box?
The included carrying case provides great comfort and maximum protection for your earbuds, the USB charging cable is short enough to be easily carried everywhere you go, and the 3 sets of replaceable eartips give you enough variety to achieve the perfect comfort.
