VERDICT

Avier XE3 are a mixed package. On one hand, you get a very secure and comfortable fit that will please everybody from runners, bikers, to recreational boxers and on the other hand, their sound and build quality could see some improvements. If you can find them for a good price, then go for it. Otherwise, you might be better off choosing some other pair of Bluetooth earbuds from our list.

Avier XE3 were designed to stay securely in place while moving, playing sports, or working out in the gym. While they managed to do many things right, they are sadly not without their share of flaws.

Design and build quality

XE3 are designed to be comfortable, lightweight, and durable. Their high-quality sweat protection is essential for worry-free workouts and innovative Secure-Fit Hooks provide listeners with an excellent fit. You can choose from either vertical or horizontal position, depending on your particular individual preferences.

There are three color combinations to choose from and they all look very cheerful and vibrant. They would probably stand out too much if you would like to use them with your regular street clothes, but they will look great with most people’s sports outfits.

The built-in Lithium-ion battery is able to provide 6 hours of continuous playback time and Bluetooth 4.0 technology lets you connect to all common devices in a matter of seconds. What’s even more, Avier offers 1-year manufacturer’s warranty that gives you the ability to try them out without the fear of losing your money.

Sound quality

We were not impressed by the sound of these Bluetooth earbuds. They sound rather flat and strongly resemble the sound that you get from the kind of earbuds that are often included for free with various electronic devices. Don’t get us wrong, they are not bad. They just don’t make you excited about the music you are listening to.

The bass completely lacks any impact, mids are uninspired and recessed, and highs are uncomfortably sharp and sibilant. It’s possible to slightly improve the overall sound quality with equalizer, but the result is still fairly mediocre and definitely not suitable for any serious music listening.

If you prefer spoken word and like to listen to audiobooks while working out, then these could perhaps work fine. However, with some many other, better options out there, it’s hard to see any reason for choosing the Avier XE3 Wireless Bluetooth 4.0 Sport Earbuds.

The only redeeming quality is the sound isolation, which does a great job when it comes to blocking all disturbing sounds and loud gym music.

What is in the box?

This time, the packaging is very basic. You only get your earbuds, micro USB cable, manual, and 1-year warranty.
