VERDICT

The AUSDOM M07 are a dream-come-true for all active people who like to spice up their workouts or running session with fun music. In such cases, the fact that the pleather earpads start to feel uncomfortable after a little over one hour of continuous use doesn’t matter at all. What matters is their excellent sound quality, punchy bass, and surprisingly useful control buttons that can help you take your Instagram pictures to the next level.

Fashionable, affordable, and wireless!!! If this combination has peaked your interest, we encourage to continue reading our review of the AUSDOM M07 On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone.

Build and Design

The AUSDOM M07 On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones are available in three different colors: black, green, and blue. The black version is much subtler, as the bright blue and green is guaranteed to attract a lot of attention. The headphones themselves are stylish, made entirely from plastic materials, and feature a foldable construction. The hinge is reinforced with metal parts, so its durability shouldn’t be an issue, although a caution is advice—remember that these are budget headphones and not a flagship model.

Initially, we found the AUSDOM M07 On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones to be very comfortable. Their soft faux leather earpads gently rested on our ears, and the lightweight construction almost made us forget about the headphones altogether. It was only after a little over one hour when our ears started to hurt, forcing us to take a short break.

One peculiarity of the AUSDOM M07 On-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Headphones is the location of the music control buttons. Most headphones have them on the right side, but the designers of the M07 placed them on the left side. It doesn’t affect the overall usability in any way; it just takes a few hours to get used to. The buttons let you play and pause your music, skip tracks, turn the headphones on and off, and adjust the volume.

There’s also a special button which can be configured to take self-portraits using your smartphones. We can see how people interested in fitness might find this feature useful, and others can configure the button to do something else.

The manufacturer rates the battery life at 14 hours, which corresponds to our own testing.

Sound Quality

We have heard our fair share of excellent Bluetooth headphones, but, with their affordable price tag, the M07 give a completely new meaning to the word “value.” Their sound signature has the typical “V” shape that people look for when it comes to fitness-oriented headphones and earbuds.

The overall sound reproduction is clear, detailed, but there’s a noticeable emphasis in the bass department. Highs are sparkly but not sibilant or fatiguing, and, in our opinion, the AUSDOM M07 are well-suited for all mainstream music genres.

The earpads isolate a fair amount of ambient noise, but not to the point where you wouldn’t be able to hear a barbell loaded with 300 pounds of plates being dropped right next to you. If you keep the volume moderately low, you could even use the headphones safety for your daily bike commute.

What’s in the Box?

The packaging includes the wireless headphones, one USB charging cable, one 3.5mm audio cable for wired listening, and a brief user manual, which explains how to use the headphones without overwhelming the user with technical information and, instead, using illustrations and short captions to get the meaning across.
