Design and Build

The Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 are lightweight yet extremely durable professional DJ headphones with unassuming design and excellent versatility.

The headband is padded as well, and it can be easily adjusted to fit just about any head shape and head size. The only criticism we have regarding the comfort of the Audio-Technica ATH-PRO700MK2 is that the clamping force produced by the otherwise flawless headband is slightly too high for our liking. It gets slightly better after a few hours of listening, but don’t expect a miracle.

To use the headphones, you connect one side of either the straight or the coiled cable to the right earcup and the other side to your audio source. Because the headphones have an impedance of just 38 ohms, they sound great without amplification even when listening using a portable audio player.

Sound Quality
