VERDICT

There are lots of things to like about the Monoprice Monolith M1060 Over-Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones. These headphones are visually impressive, at the same time they offer you a huge spectrum of features for a pretty low price. You can’t really ask for more here, but for the most part, you will appreciate the distinct gameplay and unique ideas. If you are the type of person that likes good sound quality, you will not be disappointed here. They do a pretty good job with the sound output, and even audiophiles will be happy with them. Overall, a great purchase and nice value!

Monoprice is the type of company that a lot of people like because it offers some very impressive headphones at a decent price. The Monoprice Monolith M1060 Over-Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones is a very good example of that. You do get some of the best results and a very good quality from this, which is exactly what you need in the end.

Design

The great thing about the Monoprice Monolith M1060 Headphones is that they have a killer design. You will like the unit combination of plastic and wood-like material. The over the ear line is seamless too. While it can seem a bit too much from a design standpoint, it does get the job done and that’s the thing that you will like the most in this regard, you can rest assured of it.

Audio quality and features

With the Monoprice Monolith M1060 Over-Ear Planar Magnetic Headphones you will get a 106 mm planar driver technology. What this does is it offers you a very good aural landscape. It solves the sonic detail issues and in the end, it delivers a very distinct and impressive sound quality. The recordings you listen to will be crystal clear, crisp and warm at all times. The imaging is distinct, and you do receive maybe the best value and balance in this regard.

Aside from that, you have the 10 Hz-50000 kHz which is pretty impressive in its own right. And the 50 Ohm impedance shows that the value is really good here, which is exactly what you may need from a unit like this. All you need is to give it a shot and see that the audio quality is amazing at this price.

The interesting thing is that you have low distortion. Usually, units like this won’t have that, and it’s a bad thing. The bass quality is amazing in its own right too, which is always nice to have. Plus, the open back headphones are still isolated and closed. They look great, but at the same time, the audio quality is extremely good every time.

What’s in the box?

Not a lot. You just have the unit, the cable and that’s pretty much
