VERDICT

Symphonized XTC Premium Genuine Wood offer a truly premium design and accessories for a low price. We liked everything about their sound and stylish looks. Just picking them in hand and feeling the wood grain is a great feeling. When you actually put them in your ears, you will experience a great clarity and sound full of little details and nuances. Some people will dislike how lower frequencies don’t try to grab all of your attention, but it wasn’t a problem for us since we prefer our earbuds to be balanced.

Earbuds that look as good as Symphonized XTC Premium should have a category of its own. We would call it “classy”. Our in-depth review will reveal if there is more to these beautiful earbuds than just good looks.

Design and build quality

The signature feature of Symphonized XTC Premium Genuine Wood Noise-isolating earbuds is their wooden housing. It looks absolutely great, is lightweight, and even helps to enhance acoustic properties of these earbuds.

The wooden construction of headphones and earbuds has seen a big rise in popularity during recent years. There are many reasons for this trend. In the 21st century, we have become surrounded by plastic materials.

This can easily lead to a disconnection with nature and its natural resources. The feeling of natural materials is a great way how to introduce a natural element into our daily lives. Wood is also well-known for its acoustic properties and ability to add a pleasant timbre (or color tone) to music.

Symphonized did not stop with just the housing. The rest of these cheap earbuds is equally well-made and shows a great attention to detail. Symphonized XTC Premium use a high-quality braided cord that is very resistant to tangling and microphonics (the unwanted sound transfer though the cable all the way into your ears).

During our testing, we have experienced absolutely no problems at all with a build quality and overall durability of these earbuds. Other people are reporting the same thing – Symphonized XTC Premium Genuine Wood are made to last a long time of good use.

Sound

Symphonized XTC Premium deserve the highest score possible for their excellent sound with a very wide soundstage and great instrument separation. All frequencies, from the lowest bass all the way up to crystal clear highs, sound amazing.

Very large number of earbuds pull off only a small portion of what these manage to accomplish. Listening again to some of our old favorite tracks revealed many new details that went completely unnoticed before.

The wooden housing should, in theory, add a warm sound signature to the sound. It is impossible to know just how much it actually does make a difference, but they sound great and that’s the only thing that matter at the end of the day.

What is in the box?

Apart from the earbuds themselves, you will also receive three sizes of custom silicone ear tips and one eco-friendly carrying pouch.
